FAITH CONNECTION FOR TODAY
We are full bloom into the Christmas season!
For some this can one of the most wonderful time of the year, for some it can be one of the most hurtful and stressful times of the year.
There are some that question why celebrate Christmas at all, it’s a pagan ritual or Jesus wasn't born on December 25th and the list can go on and on why we should or shouldn't.
But the truth Jesus was born into this world with God perfect plan of salvation for mankind.
Isaiah 7:14 NKJV
Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.
This was prophesies by Isaiah and many other prophets as well concerning the birth of Jesus Christ years before He was born.
When you look at the prophecies fulfill when Jesus was born you can help but see that the Bible written by men truly was inspired by God though the Holy Spirit.
So Christmas is not about the gifts as this world system has make it to be.
Christmas for those of us who have come to know the meaning and acceptance of the Lord Jesus as our Lord and Savior is a time of as described in the Word of God in Luke 2:10-12 NKJV
Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. [11] For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. [12] And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.”
A time not to be afraid, stress out!
A time of great news, a time of great joy!
A time when in our grief we have hope of a reunion with our loved one!
So our grief is not without hope and that make all the difference, yes we grief we miss them, but we have been given the greatest gift of all to see them again and to never be separated from them again for all eternality!
For Jesus was born!
Whether it was December 25th or whatever day He was born and that what should be why celebrate Christmas Jesus is the reason for the season!
Make a FAITH CONNECTION TODAY with the one whom birthday we celebrate!
